Travel Log

As a nomadic cidermaker, I've been lucky enough to share experiences with the cider community all across the world. I felt it would be remiss not to share these stories with the readers, drinkers, and travelers who - like me - seek out curious corners of the craft beverage world. Part journal, part journalism, and part cider-induced rambling, this log will include columns I’ve written for the local magazine The Laurel of Asheville, as well as other original content that explores cider in all ways: not only my own experience of it, but also the culture of the beverage, the ingredients that go into it, and the passionate, creative people who bring apples from barn to bar. My hope is that this log will offer a deeper look into why I make cider and what makes this community and this beverage so special.
